Thanks to your participation in Step 1, we’ve heard your story and uncovered some critical challenges faced by you. However, do you really know what others in your community are experiencing?

In this phase of our campaign, we challenge you to get out of your comfort zone and engage with your fellow community members by asking to hear their stories. Ask them about who they are, where they're from, and what challenges they face. Share what you learned and it will appear through our Hatching Voices listening tool.

Why Hear Others’ Stories?

You will help Americans unite and build empathy toward one another, regardless of political beliefs or ideologies.
You will help piece together #OurAmericanStory by sharing what you learn from your fellow community members, and build towards a common understanding.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who can participate in the campaign?

You can! Hatch International invites all Americans to participate, regardless of citizenship, age, gender, race, or political affiliation. As long as you have a story to tell, we want to hear your voice!

Do I have to complete all steps in order to participate in the campaign?

No, you can choose to participate in one or all steps. Each step will occur over the course of six to twelve months. We hope that each step builds on one another in order to build a united American voice and create solutions that we can implement together. However, you are not required to participate in step one in order to participate in either step two or step three.

Can my participation remain anonymous?

You can choose to remain anonymous by not filling out your name, age, location, etc when you share your voice. However, we encourage you to tell us who you are and where you live so that Hatch International can better understand the different experiences of communities across our country.

Will you share my details with third parties?

No, we will not share anything without your permission. In addition, you can choose to remain anonymous in steps one and two by not filling out your name, age, location, etc when you share your voice. However, we encourage you to tell us who you are and where you live so that Hatch International can better understand the different experiences of communities across our country. Finally, if you participate in step three and you share your contact information with us when submitting an idea, we will be sure to contact you before sharing your idea with our network of partners, influencers, and lawmakers.

Do I have to share my story on both your facebook page and the website?

No, you may choose to use one platform to share your story.

I shared my story. What’s next? Can I expect to receive a response?

We will roll out additional phases of our campaign (i.e., "Connect" and "Hatch") in the coming weeks and months. Please look out for updates via our website and facebook page so you can continue to participate in our campaign.

Can I invite others to participate in your campaign?

Yes, absolutely! After you participate in each step, you will be provided the option to share a status regarding your participation to your facebook page. Alternatively, you may invite your network on your own. We encourage all Americans to participate!
