Additional Information : SAD DOG MADE HAPPY STORY: TANKA was officially adopted today April 20 th. Tanka was renamed Shamal as he loves to tear up the sand in the areas around Khalifa City when he's out on his walk, with the biggest paws we've ever seen on a medium-sized saluki-mix! Since day one he's been a great dog and we can only praise the good job SAD did in the short time he was with them at the kennels; both crate and house trained, Shamal will go to his (crate) bed of his own accord when he's sleepy, though now at 23kg he's a little bigger than was expected, so is rapidly out-growing his crate. Shamal likes to chew his bones and bury his chews (even in the corners of the house bizarrely). He gets on well with everyone/ dog he meets and is often complemented on how well-behaved he is. He is happiest lounging on the balcony in the evening watching the world go by or sniffing about the garden. Adopting a dog is definitely one of the most rewarding things his owners have done since arriving in Abu Dhabi.
