  • Fully vaccinated and vet checked.

Happy Ending : Shamal went out on foster to  a new family who volunteered to help SAD juggle dogs through the Summer by becoming a  long term foster home. The family had lots of previous dog experience and 2 dogs of their own for him to play with, an Australian Silky and a Golden Retreiver. After a week fostering our new SAD foster family confessed they had fallen in love with Shamal and have now opted to keep him. Pamela Pagan now writes in her own words about the latest edition to their family:

Shamal easily won the hearts of our other 2 dogs, Yaeger and Kitty, and of course totally stole the hearts of my husband and myself.  His deformity only adds to his incredible character.  We look at his legs and we don’t see a deformity, we see him as a male ballerina.  He is so sweet, handsome, docile, playful, funny and fast as a bullet!  He will totally help our Golden Retriever shed those extra pounds he’s put on with all the running games they enjoy.  I can’t thank SAD and its volunteers enough for running such a wonderful program.
