History : Abandoned on waste ground in Officers city along with her 5 littermatesn - one of the OC Six!

HAPPY ENDING STORY :

As she did not seem to respond by her name, we decided to call her Gaia (from the Latin Gaea following her new dad being from Rome). The name, other than expressing the sentiment of happiness, comes from mythology.

Gaia (previously Uhura) has now settled in her new life. At first she was very scared of literally everything, however now she is gradually gaining more and more confidence and is coming out of her shell (the only downside being that I need to buy a new pair of slippers every week). 

I don't think I have ever encountered such a polite, obedient, receptive and smart dog. As, unfortunately, we do not have a garden as we live in an apartment, we only take her out 3 times a day. It was, however, astonishing how quick and easy it was to house-train her (it did not take even one week).

The impact she had on my (quasi) wife was incredible. She was never allowed a pet and was a little scared at first, however it is outstanding how happy Gaia can make her on the gloomiest day
