HAPPY ENDING: Molly and Lucky (now Larry) are the much beloved housemates of newlyweds Jamie and Georgine Roodenrys, residents at Al Raha Gardens. Jamie and Georgine have had dogs in their lives since they were kids and felt that life wasn't quite the same without them. They wanted to give a homeless dog a chance and, when they finally made the decision to go for it, there were Molly and Larry at SAD! In the three weeks that Jamie, Georgine, Molly and Larry have been together a number of discoveries have been made. Firstly, that the beautiful villa garden that Jamie and Georgine had so carefully cultivated was not dog proof, particularly Molly's major excavations, the dogs levelled it in a week! We have also discovered that Molly is a loveable rogue. She loves soft toys and tearing them apart and beating up Larry. Larry is a beautiful soul. He is affectionate and loving and has an incredible knack of being right in the spot you were going to next. As a result, falling head over heels over Larry is a relatively regular occurrence - it never fails to make you laugh. The new members of the Roodenrys household seem to be very happy. They have adjusted to their new villa and love their morning walk around the neighbourhood and their evening play in the local park. They've survived a couple of baths and have met the aussie relatives over Skype and are definitely a much loved part of the family enjoying lots of cuddles. Jamie and Georgine couldn't be happier. They continue to be amazed at how loving these 2 dogs are after such a tough start in life and feel very grateful for the hard work of SAD in taking them in and ensuring that they were loved and looked after for that moment when the right owners came along. Jamie and Georgine pass on their heartfelt thanks to all those people who have been in Molly and Larry's lives so far and have contributed to making them the gorgeous dogs they are. |
