History : Found wandering in the Al Bateen area and surrendered to the AVC. No chip, but she was wearing a brown leather collar with silver bones on it.

• Would be a great dog to train and we suspect a natural at agility!

Mocha has just spent 2 weeks with a Summer foster family, they report that she is a dog who adjusted immediately to being in their home, never had an accident in the house and was exceptional with their 2 children. They also discovered that on a hot day Mocha loves to swim as you can see from the photos!

Adopted on 7th Sept 2009.

Mocha was adopted by Samantha Wooley. Samantha had been fostering SAD dogs for the past 12 months and was accustomed to having to return them after the set time period. However Mocha turned out to be a dog she simply couldn’t return. Mocha’ behavior was exceptional in Sam’s home and her loveable affectionate nature quickly won Sam’s heart. Sam wanted to adopt Mocha from the first weekend she fostered her but unfortunately long work hours meant full time adoption needed careful consideration. Sam found the solution in no time- friends offered to walk Mocha during the day while Sam was at work, breaking up the time period she would be left home alone. On September 10 th 2009 Sam asked us if she could officially adopt Mocha. Everyone at SAD and of course Mocha herself is delighted that Sam will provide the permanent home she so deserves!
